When I replace my hood (Fan & Light)over my stove, it came with a rectangle shape hood damper, mine is round. I would of have to replace and move the duct work. This just slip right in. Save me alot of work.

This duct damper adds an inexpensive but effective backflow preventative device for the Broan Allure series 7" dia exhaust configuration. It can be installed on any brand duct discharge that is nominally 7" diameter.
The damper must be mounted vertically as it uses gravity to close when your exhaust fan is OFF.
Make sure you use aluminum foil tape or duct tape actually rated for use on ductwork. Most standard duct tape is not suitable for a permanent installation.

We are very pleased with our purchase of a 7" round damper for the vent pipe of our kitchen vent hood. The price was VERY reasonable. The seller's shipping charges were modest. The packaging was professional and protected our purchase enroute. I will check to see other items carried by this seller for future purchases.
